Hello! My loving rescue dog Brando and I are looking for a new home (the owner is selling the house I’m currently renting).
We are looking for a medium-large bedroom in a home with 1-2 other tenants (who love dogs), an outdoor area, and air-conditioning. Ideally I'd live with others who would like to share the occasional meal or drink but I also value my alone time and would respect the same for you.
Me (CJ, she/her, 31): I recently finished a Bachelor of Interior Design and will be working within the design industry soon on a part-time basis. Besides spending lots of time with Brando, I make terrariums, take care of my many plants, love cooking, reading, drawing/painting, and recently started Tai Chi.

Respect, self-aware, able to have a chill and compassionate conversation if there are any issues, help with general cleaning of the house (but I would vacuum/mop more often since I have a dog!), and cleans up after themselves.
Food sharing and furniture
I would have my own food but would love to occasionally share a meal. I don’t eat animal products super often (Brando does eat meat/fish daily) but I have no issues with housemates regularly eating animal products.
I have some furniture/share-items like a big TV and console, breakfast table and chairs, and shelving but I don’t have to bring these items with me if the house is well set-up.

Description of pets
Brando (5 yr old male, American Staffy cross): He is a sweet, loving goofball, a very good boy who respects boundaries and rules (he won’t chew your things), and has no aggression towards other dogs or humans (and seems to just want to be friends with cats!) Brando has moments of intense excitement (e.g. when I get home) but otherwise is a chill doggo that rarely barks, loves sun-baking, playing with his toys, and generally just being around people. I walk him 1-2 times daily, wash his bowls daily, clean up after him as soon as he makes any mess (e.g. pulls the stuffing out a toy), and vacuum and mop often.
