About this person
I am an arts worker - I curate, write and teach and make photos too. I am late 40s, vegetarian, love all things cultural - books, music, cinema, art etc. I have been living in shared homes for years, and have always loved creating new little ad-hoc families, sharing experiences etc. I am a people person, community minded, but also just as happy in a hammock reading a book listening to some gentle jazz. I am easy going, quiet, can cook (vegetarian) and clean, and am very respectful of spaces, boundaries etc. I have lots of lovely artwork, framed photos, a record player, and other nice things to make the house beaut. I love having plants too.
I also have some furniture - couch, chairs, table, fridge, washing machine - but they are all in storage unit (so can come or not), as I have been housesitting for a friend for the past year. I am keen on the bigger room, I am able to start paying rent ASAP, but would move in mid-Jan.
My two kids live in Thornbury, and I have always lived just around the corner - my ex has a big house, so they live with her, but come visit me often (they are both mid-late teens), super chill, friendly, musicians. My ex and I are good buddies, and spend a lot of time together, we go on family holidays together etc. Its all super chill.
