I’m Veronica. I'm 42, I grew up in Melbourne, but have been living in Sydney for around 15 years. I'm trustworthy, reliable, well travelled, respectful and whilst I enjoy a meaningful chat and connecting with housemates I also enjoy my quiet time. I love art, discussing life/purpose/dreams, astronomy and anything and everything in between. Around a year ago I stepped away from my career as a Senior Technology Sales Executive to explore a more peaceful lifestyle. I was beyond burnt out and needed change and decided I was craving a simpler, less fast paced life. So my dog (Kingston) and I hit the road and had the most amazing time exploring this stunning country. After a few months and some time back in Melbourne it’s time for stability and a safe, comfortable home. I’m a Trained Yoga Teacher (did the whole Eat, Pray, Love thi g a while back- best time of my life), I now study Trauma Informed Counselling part time in hope to start a new career that aligns more closely with my values.

And…
🤍 Being with my registered Emotional Support Animal (Kingston, 4.5 year old FRUG; pug x frenchie) makes me happiest. Yes… we do come as a package deal. But please don’t discount us. Kingston is loved by all humans and animals that he meets. He’s gentle, friendly, curious, has a beautiful character and has never ever in his life shown a single sign of aggression. He likes walks, cuddles and watching my every move ;) He might lick you though - just a heads up!

These days I’m a quiet person who doesn’t sweat the small stuff, I love walks, reading in a park or by the water, I’m curious about everything and I adore road trips with Kingston. I have a car, I’m a doting dog Mum. My mum + sister live on the northern beaches so Kingston & I will spend a fair bit of our time “OTB” if we end up East/inner West or Southside ;)

From my experience, just being kind, common courtesy, clean, honest with open communication is key. If something is working well let's shout it out, and vice versa if something is not working so well, let's look at how we can make things better. I'm a very open and honest house mate. I love to laugh and like to see the joyful side of life. I'm always open for feedback as it's my goal to live in a comfy, harmonious environment.

Food, happy to look after myself for meals but happy share all the bits and pieces that we would typically need for coming - if that works for you :) Yes, I have living room furniture. In fact, I have an entire house full of furniture in a storage unit in Melbourne. I was planning to sell as much as possible but if the house is missing anything, there is no doubt I will have it and happy to discuss/go check it out with you. It's all great stuff!
