Greetings, future flatmate!
I’m Alex from the US. I’ve called Australia home for the past year, half of which was spent subletting in Brunswick while working in the CBD. I just returned from the US to pursue a master’s of social work at RMIT, so looking for a new place to call home while I study and work at my placements. Budget is up to $340 a week, or around $1200 to $1350 per month. I’m staying with a friend in Richmond, and can move in ASAP!
Preferred areas, but not required:
Brunswick
Coburg
Richmond
Carlton
Kensington
Hawthorn
Fitzroy
Thornbury
South Yarra
Prahran
While these areas are preferred, anywhere within a 30 minute commute to the CBD by public transport would be awesome, and a tram nearby is a bonus.
I’ve been living in shared spaces since I was 18, don’t smoke, pay everything on time, always pick up after myself, concious about energy usage, lgbtq friendly, and I’m outgoing but also respect downtime. A rental reference is available upon request.
When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy getting together with the mates, hiking, hitting the gym, photography, traveling, playing board and video games, and learning languages to name a few.
