About this person
I’m Colombian and I’ve been living in Melbourne since January 2024. I moved here to study English, and in December I completed my Diploma in E-commerce. This month I’m starting my Advanced Diploma in Marketing Automation, which I’m really excited about as part of this new chapter in my life.
Back in Colombia, I’m an artist with a strong background in theatre and entertainment. I work as a theatre actor, radio host, drag queen, and event and show producer. For more than 21 years, I worked at Theatron, the biggest LGBTIQ+ nightclub in Bogotá and Latin America, where I was deeply involved in producing major events and shows. Moving to Australia represents a fresh start for me, both personally and professionally.
I’m currently on a student visa, which allows me to work up to 24 hours per week. Because of that, I have three casual jobs: I work in a clothing store, in a bar, and occasionally at large events such as the MCG or Marvel Stadium. My lifestyle is active, social, and creative, but I also value balance and personal space.
Since last year, I’ve been living in the CBD in a shared apartment and shared room. Now I’m calmly looking for a private room, as privacy is important to me at this stage. I can move at the end of December or the end of January, as I pay rent monthly.

Compatible people
For me, a good flatmate is someone calm, tidy, and respectful of other people’s space. I really value a peaceful home environment, especially when it comes to noise, personal boundaries, and shared areas. Respecting each other’s rest and sleep time is very important to me.
Cleanliness is a must, particularly in shared spaces like the bathroom. I believe everyone should be considerate and responsible with hygiene and common areas. When it comes to music or noise, I think there’s a time for everything — if it’s a social or celebration moment, that’s totally fine, but on regular days I prefer a quieter atmosphere and mutual respect.
I also value people who are not intrusive and understand that sometimes you want to be social and share, and other times you just need your own space. Balance is key: knowing when to connect and when to give space makes living together much more enjoyable.

Food sharing and furniture
I eat pretty much everything, although I’m lactose intolerant, so I just avoid lactose. I’m not vegetarian or vegan. Most of the time I either eat out or buy ready-made meals, and when I eat at home I usually use the microwave and the fridge rather than cooking from scratch.
I prefer to arrange my own food instead of sharing, but I’m always respectful of common spaces and other people’s food.
Regarding furniture, I don’t have any of my own. I’m looking for a fully furnished room, as I mainly just have my clothes and personal belongings.
