Hi, I’m Pip, I’ve just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and I’m looking for a place to settle for a few months while I look for an apartment to buy. I’m an avid op-shopper and love fashion, vintage homewares, interior design, and a bunch of arts/creative hobbies. I’m not a really a partier these days. I’m pretty chill and friendly, happy to hang out but enjoy having downtime on my own. I’m low drama, respectful and considerate, and hold leftist values. I’m a non-smoker and drink socially on occasion.
Compatible people
I tend to get along best with queer lefty creative types in their 20s and 30s, but really as long as you’re friendly, accepting, respectful, emotionally mature, and cleanup after yourself, I’m sure we can make things work.

Food sharing and furniture
I generally prefer to do my own thing for shopping and meals. I have an annoyingly sensitive tum so don’t want to burden everyone else with my dietary restrictions. I don’t cook that often - I’m big on snacks and get weekly meal deliveries.
I’m gluten intolerant but not coeliac, so no need to worry about contamination or anything.
I fully support people eating vegan and vego, but I’m unable to restrict my diet in that way due to my own health issues. I consume dairy, and I do eat meat but almost never cook it myself.
I have all my furniture in storage at the moment, so I’m happy with a furnished setup but can un-Tetris my stuff out of storage if needed.

Description of pets
I have a sweet little 6-year-old tortoiseshell cat (Chilli) who is shy at first but warms up quickly. She is an indoor-only cat, reliably uses her litter tray, is not aggressive, and tends to use her cat tree mainly for scratching instead of furniture. She is quite adaptable to new situations and has lived with a small dog before.
She is currently staying with a friend for the short term. Ideally I would like to bring her with me and unburden my friend from cat parenting duties, but it’s not a total dealbreaker.
