About this person
My name is Danny Sofield, and after spending the past nine months travelling across Southeast Asia, I’ve recently arrived in Melbourne, Australia, where I’m planning to work and build a life. Travelling has given me the chance to experience different cultures, cities, and styles of architecture, which has strengthened my interest in design and the built environment.
Since arriving in Melbourne, I’ve really enjoyed the lifestyle the city offers, particularly the balance between urban living and access to nature. I spend a lot of my free time outdoors, whether that’s exploring the city, visiting the Botanical Gardens, or discovering different parts of Melbourne. I enjoy architecture and design, and I find the mix of historic and contemporary buildings here particularly inspiring.
At the moment, I’m working around 25 hours a week in a café, which has been a great way to meet people and settle into the city. Alongside that, I’m currently in the process of transitioning into an office-based role in recruitment, which I’m looking forward to as the next step in my career.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new areas, spending time with friends, going out to bars, and making the most of what Melbourne has to offer.

Compatible people
Someone who is clean, does not leave a mess everywhere, I’ve seen some people like that in hostels and it’s not very nice for everyone else. They should be friendly but also respect privacy etc. Good to talk to.
Food sharing and furniture
Can share food, that’s not an issue, makes it easier when shopping however if a housemates dosnt want to share food then that’s ok aswell
