Personal introduction
I’m 47, used to be a corporate marketing manager, but presently on WorkCover, so kinda retired-ish. I was married for over 20 years and have three kids, and they don’t live with me, but they might come visit on occasion. (They live with their dad in Murrindindi Shire, near Lake Eildon.)

I’m mostly a homebody and creative: I love creating with my own two hands, from painting and drawing, to sewing and crocheting, to DIY and gardening, it’s all my happy place. I am a voracious reader, and love board games, but love spending time in nature, especially camping — I used to be a Scout Leader and well before that, I went on my first camping trip at 6 weeks old, so it’s practically in my DNA.

I’m AuDHD so honesty is key, and I can be very social, but need solo time to charge my social battery.

I have a plug-in hybrid vehicle so I need a car park so I can charge, and obviously will expect to pay for that privilege.

I have a back injury that I’m hoping to get surgery for this year, so in prep for that I’ve begun hydrotherapy and am starting back at the gym to ensure my recovery is as smooth as possible… so pool and/or gym is on my wish list!

Once I get that surgery, I’m looking forward to being able to snowboard again! I’m a Portuguese Canadian who has been an Aussie permanent resident for 20 years. (No, not a citizen yet, I know, I know. 😬😜)
Compatible people
I don’t work at the moment, I spend a lot of time at home, so tidy communal spaces are important to me. Happy to cook communal meals at times (and I'm an awesome cook! 😉), and I’m always up for a chat. I would love flatmates that are similar in interests: creatives that can be social, but aren’t having ragers every other weekend.
Food sharing and furniture
I would prefer to arrange my own food, but happy to do the odd meal jointly. I have no crazy dietary requirements. I do have some crockery and appliances and furniture, and can be flexible, they can remain in storage. Most of my furniture is IKEA with some antiques. (Random, I know.)
Description of pets
I have a 4 year old void named Jeff. He’s half Bengal, so VERY chatty and social. He’s litter trained and harness trained so he enjoys time outside as often as he can.
