Hi there! I'm Kat, a chill and friendly 30-something looking for somewhere to exist until March while I prepare for my upcoming #vanlife phase. If you've got parking space for a Toyota Hiace, I'm keen to live with you! :) When I'm not van prepping I play taiko (Japanese drums), crochet cute birds (yes you are welcome to one), make Youtube videos, read books, play games, and complain about not having enough time to do any of it. I'm independent and reliable and I generally go with the flow - if you want to hang out I'm down, or I'm happy to keep to myself and do my own thing.
Compatible people
Good communication is critical - let's talk honestly about our needs and preferences and not be weird about it! I'd love to live with someone down to earth and considerate, who is happy to hang out but also has their own stuff going on (someone like me, pretty much). Basic cleanliess, basic hygiene and basic consideration (e.g., no loudness before 8am or after midnight) are essential obviously, and aside from that I can co-exist happily with anyone as long as there's a good vibe. Bonus points if you bring a sense of humour :)
Food sharing and furniture
I'm pretty independent so I can arrange my own meals, but am up for doing communal dinners if our schedules align. I bring some very decent cooking skills (I'm being modest, I'm a great cook!). I can self-furnish with a bed and a desk if need be, but other than that and a pretty sweet outdoor bean bag chair I don't have any furniture.
