Aloha, my name is Olli (29), I’m a film critic from Berlin who just moved to Melbourne as part of a sabbatical, so I’m looking for a place to stay with cool roommates.
My employer in Germany is continuing to pay my salary during my sabbatical, but I’m still looking for a part-time job—something laid-back, 20–30 hours a week—where I can gain some new experiences. Even without a job, though, I’m not stuck at home 24/7; I’m quite active and really eager to explore Melbourne.
I love—obviously—movies and TV shows, enjoy going to bars with friends, am passionate about music and concerts, and love stepping out of my bubble to meet new people and hear their stories.
I’ve been living in shared apartments in Germany for over 10 years; I’m clean, tidy, considerate of my roommates, and always up for a chat over coffee or a beer - I promise I have some good stories, met some interesting people (and some Hollywood stars) along the way.
