Hi, I’m Seth! I’m 26, studying graphic design at NMTAFE, and looking for a queer-friendly share house. I’m neat, friendly, and easy-going, and committed to being a contributing member of whatever household I join. In addition to studying, I take on freelance design work, so in the evenings I’m often working from home. I like board games/TTRPGs, making art, and curling up with a good book. I’m also reasonably handy at DIY stuff.
Important personal qualities
The most important thing is that you’re okay with having my cats, Bro and Salem, around, and that you’ll be kind to them. I’ll do all the associated feeding and cleaning and stuff, and of course you’re allowed to bar them from your room, but if they’re in the common area you’ll let them sit on the furniture, or if they come up to you being friendly you’ll give them a quick pat. That kind of thing, you know?
Food sharing and furniture
I’d prefer to arrange my own meals because it makes it easier to budget, but I’m also happy to contribute to communal meals as long as they’re not every night, you know? I can also provide some storage cubes/shelving and a couple of comfy armchairs and a matching couch, but I can pass them on if the house is already sufficiently furnished.
Description of pets
I have two indoor-only cats, Bro and Salem. Bro is very lazy and loves people, Salem is much more skittish so you probably won’t see much of him for the first while. They’re both very clean, and have no history of damaging stuff. They’ve lived in households with other pets and had no issues, including big dogs, other cats, rabbits, and free-roaming birds.
