A good flatmate for me is one that doesn’t scurry away into their room as soon as they’re back from work - the willingness to have social conversations while we’re both in common areas would be lovely (I really hate walking on eggshells). Likewise I’m big on someone who keeps the shared spaces clean and tidy with a mutual respect for each other.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to sort out my own food, but the occasional shared meal once in a while is lovely to catch up over recent work news or road trips etc.
