About this person
Hi there,
My name is Susan, I’m 51 years old, and I work in care and support, with over 20 years’ experience looking after elderly people and those living with disabilities. I’m also an author, currently working on and publishing my own book, which is something I’m very passionate about.
I’m a calm, compassionate, and reliable person who takes pride in being respectful and easy to live with. I value a peaceful and tidy home environment and always do my part to keep shared spaces clean and comfortable.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, being around animals, and doing creative things like arts and crafts. I’m quite home-based and appreciate a relaxed and positive household.
I also have a small dog, a 9-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who is gentle, well-behaved, and very much part of my daily life.
I’m considerate of others’ space, friendly without being intrusive, and looking for a place where I can settle in and feel at home.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me.
My best friend is Lissye. She's 48 and studying part time university ,working part-time doing office work.
Shes very calm, very clean and a pleasure to b around
Compatible people
I believe a good flatmate is someone who is respectful, reliable, and easy to live with. I’m very mindful of shared spaces and always keep things clean and tidy, and I’m considerate when it comes to noise and other people’s routines.
I pay my rent and bills on time, communicate openly if needed, and respect personal space while still being friendly and approachable. I think it’s important to create a calm, positive environment where everyone feels comfortable in their own home.
Overall, I’m someone who contributes to a peaceful household and values mutual respect and honesty.
Food sharing and furniture
I generally prefer to have my own food, as I like to manage my own routine and cooking. That said, I really enjoy cooking and often make enough to share, so I’m always happy to offer a meal or include others if it suits.

I think it’s nice to have that balance — being independent while still being open and generous in a shared home.
Description of pets
