Hi!
I'm Morgan (and River the Dog), and we are looking for a new home to base ourselves.
I am a film producer and writer, and River is a beautiful small border collie x kelpie who has been by my side for 9 years.
I suffered a serious health crisis in 2021 and River has been training to become my registered service dog and is doing so well! She will be fully registered in the next few months and she allows me to live a more independent and happy life - so we're a packaged deal.
My disabilities generally aren't noticeable, but they do mean that I'm not as social as I used to be, can't live in a "party" house and tend to spend a fair bit of time alone. But that doesn't mean I don't love a good chat over a meal (i love to cook!), a coffee or a glass of wine on occasion, and I like to socialise when my body allows it.
I'm very independent and don't require any assistance from support workers, which is a godsend and I feel very lucky to have recovered as well as I have.
I will be travelling a fair bit this year for film projects I have coming up, but when I'm at home I'm a very courteous, clean and kind human - and whilst I like to have a clean home, I'm also not overly uptight, as long as it's an environment of mutual respect and kindness, I'm pretty easy going.
We are initially looking for a place to call home until the end of the year, with the option to stay on if we all get along well.

Food sharing and furniture
I don't mind sharing food as long as everyone is chipping in equally. I love to cook for others (i used to work as a cook and still love the creativity of cooking and connecting over food). I have my own room furniture, but if there are items there, I'l make use of them if needed. I'm very easygoing as long as no one is taking the piss and being unfair. I like to just have clear communication to avoid conflict in a household - there's really no need for that, as long as everyone is being honest, open and respectful.
Description of pets
River is a small black border collie with quarter kelpie. She's a sweet, beautiful and very well-behaved girl. She's been with me for 9 years since she was a puppy. She's been training to be my registered service dog after a health crisis in 2021. She helps me live a happier and independent life, so we are a package deal. She generally spends her time curled up next to me in my room whilst i work, but she's a ver friendly girl and loves humans, so she'll be your new best friend and therapist if you want her to be. Otherwise she's happy to leave you alone and hang with me. She isn't left at home, if completely house trained and isn't a a barky or boisterous dog (unless we are doing agility at the park and playing, then she goes coo coo). She's turned even the hardest of hearts and dog skeptics :)
