Jasmine

Hello!

We are a British couple, Jasmine (28) and Archie (27), who have been travelling and working around Australia. Excitingly, Archie has been offered a Carpenter sponsorship in Hobart, and we are now looking to settle here long term.

While we search for our own home, we’re looking for a room to rent on a short- term basis (probably no longer than one month). Archie has already started work, and I am currently in the process of applying for positions.

A little bit about us…
Archie has a diverse work background, including roles as a kayak instructor, gardener, mechanic and running outdoor activity camps for children. My background is in optics, having worked for Specsavers in Australia as well as a private optician in the UK. Between us we hold degrees in Marine Conservation, Geography and International Development.

We both lead very active, outdoor-focused lifestyles and are happiest when spending time in nature. We love being in the ocean, snorkelling and spear fishing, as well as sailing.

We are extremely respectful of people’s homes and always take pride in leaving a property as we found it - or even cleaner. We also all have many positive reviews on Trusted Housesitters, which we are happy to share the link to.

We are currently in Hobart and would be able to move in as soon as possible.

We are clean, tidy & respectful.

We usually prepare our own food (as a couple) however are always keen for a few shared meals with other housemates. We currently do that once a week with our existing housemates /friends.
