I'm 25 and from South Africa. I'll be moving to Sunshine Coast in January, where I'll be working full-time as a positive behaviour support worker (psychology-related field). I'm looking for a room in a house share, long-term (1yr+). I previously lived in a 8 bedroom house back home, so I love having housemates! I'm very social and easygoing, and I'd love a house share with a homey atmosphere where we can hang out and chill together. My hobbies include hiking, surfing, the gym, yoga, reading, journalling, & spending time with friends. Important personal qualities
I would love housemates who I can become genuine mates with. I'd like to come home from work and have nice chats while cooking our dinners, maybe watch a movie together. I enjoy meeting new people, so a social house with bbqs etc. would be ideal! I also like a space where everyone respects each other & tidies up after themselves. No dirty dishes left in the sink, lol. I usually go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 6am, so I do prefer a house that's more chill in the evenings; I probably wouldn't suit a party house that's playing loud music late into the night.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to cook my own food, although I would be happy to cook together sometimes! Housemate dinners would be really fun. I like eating my dinners with others, if our schedules align. I don't have any food requirements, just eat pretty healthily.
