Hi, I'm Laura! I'm looking for a room to sublet or rent for either a couple of months or longer-term, if it's the right fit!
I've lived with housemates for most of my life and until about 2 years ago. I just returned from overseas after 2 years - living in my native Germany for a year and spending time in Thailand and New York for the second year.
I love cats, making art, travel, going to the gym, enjoying the ocean and outdoors! I would love living with cats if you happen to have a feline companion.
I'm an artist and work for myself part-time and I'm also employed in an advertising agency as a senior director. I work fully remotely, so I work from home a lot of the time. I know this can be somewhat off-putting for people, but it might help to know I'm generally a very considerate, quiet, introverted person, so if you are home a lot also, I'm sure we can make it work. I hope you will meet me before you make up your mind. We could also work out an arrangement for specific days, as I often do my painting/art business work on weekends and spend some weekdays out of the house socialising. I'm up for a flexible arrangement either way!

Food sharing and furniture
After returning from overseas I don't own any furniture anymore. I sold everything 2 years ago. I bring only a couple of suitcases, so I'm looking for a furnished place and bedroom!
I eat mostly vegetarian and have some gut issues that mean following a special diet, so I prefer not to share food with housemates except the obvious - herbs, spices etc. Although I think it's nice to cook and eat together occasionally!
