I am 69 years old and recently retired from the workforce after 33 years working for the NSW Government. I have lived by myself in Inner West Sydney private rental accommodation for the same period. I wish to continue to live in Sydney where my friends, and social life are located. I would prefer, and have the financial stability to support, a long-term arrangement.
Important personal qualities
I am quiet and easy-going. I like routine and stability but can be reasonably flexible if needed. I have managed to keep playing unicycle hockey in local, interstate and international competitions from the time I took up the sport in my early 50s. Some of my other interests are travel, trivia games and ancestry research.
Food sharing and furniture
I have no dietary restrictions. I am open to sharing mealtimes and conversations or keeping our lives largely separate, depending on my housemates' needs and preferences. I have my own furniture and appliances but I have always kept these to the minimum.
