Hello! I’m Emma, from Leeds in the UK and moved to Sydney on a working visa at the start of September. I am a teacher so I work full time Monday to Friday and love to wind down on a Friday night with a few beers 😁 on the weekends I love going to the beach or doing any activity where I can explore new places. I have an active lifestyle so I love to go on long walks and hikes and explore new and random places. I’m spontaneous and adventurous but at the same time chill and laid back.
I’m respectful, tidy and clean around the house. I have shared houses with people in the past who have since become good friends and would love to have the same thing here in Sydney 😀

Important personal qualities
I am a very social person and have come to Sydney by myself so my priority is to meet people and make new friends. I have made a few friends here already and would love to have them over for movie nights / drinks / BBQ’s on the odd occasion e.g. at weekends. So I would love to live with somebody who can join in and enjoy these activities too. At the same time, I love to relax through watching movies and cooking and going for walks.
Food sharing and furniture
I do not own any furniture or kitchenware at the moment as I have just moved to Sydney. This is something that I would be willing to buy and happily share.
I would rather buy and eat my own food but very happy to cook together on the odd occasion and split the cost 😊 I am a meat eater but love to eat meals that don’t consist of meat and respect people that choose a lifestyle of not eating meat or dairy
