Hey! I’m a 33-year-old Canadian currently studying a Master of Nursing at The University of Sydney and working at a brewery on the side. I love being active — running, hiking, soccer, Pilates, yoga — and I’ve recently fallen into surfing (still very much in the “wiped out but smiling” phase).
Creativity is a big part of my life too. I do stand-up comedy and improv, which keeps things interesting and occasionally humbling. In my spare time I am learning Spanish, volunteering with OzHarvest and Street Mission, heading to the beach, or checking out gigs and exhibitions around the city.
I’ve lived in quite a few house shares over the years, which has taught me to communicate openly and be thoughtful about shared spaces. I bring a calm energy to a home and am friendly and easygoing. I like a shared house to be a space everyone can unwind.

I think a good flatmate is someone who communicates openly and respectfully. Someone who can express themselves and also listen to others. I always make space for that kind of exchange. It’s important that they’re happy to share chores and help keep the place nice to live in, as I do. And I really appreciate someone who’s up for sharing a bite or a drink every now and then. It’s a shared space, so it’s nice to have a bit of connection at home.
Food sharing and furniture
I’m vegetarian and respectful of everyone’s food choices. I usually prefer to cook my own meals, but I’m happy to have the occasional dinner together if my flatmate’s up for it. I don’t have any living room furniture at the moment.
