Hi everyone, I'm moving to Sydney from Brisbane to begin studying medicine at the University of Sydney, while my partner will working full-time in healthcare. We're looking for a nice spot to crash and hopefully some nice people to live with. I've lived outside of home since in share houses I was 18, and being now 23 I am extremely organised and used to managing my own spaces and keeping communal spaces clean and organised. As a medical student I will be very busy between on campus sessions and work, and outside of the house a majority of the time, while my partner will also be busy with work. However, while at home we enjoy cooking for ourselves, watching movies, and chilling from our busy schedules, it would be ideal for us to have a quiet and tidy home. We're very organised and will always clean up after myself and follow any house rules.
Compatible people
For me looking after and keeping communal spaces is a sign of respect to fellow housemates that goes so far, and something I always ensure I am doing in a sharehouse. I think also being adaptable to other housemates, I'm usually always up for a chat and enjoy a social shared dinner, but respecting each others boundaries and wishes is important too.
Food sharing and furniture
As a medical student and working part time my schedule is busy and I may arrive home late on many occasions. In saying that I would definitely be up for a shared meal if the timing suits. I am not vegetarian and as I will be moving interstate, so will not be bringing living room furniture.
Description of pets
We have the cutest cat called Baobao, he is a Turkish Angora. He is very shy when meeting new people but once he is comfortable he's a playful boy and will love any attention he gets.
