Hi! I’m Deniz from Munich, and I’ll be moving to Sydney for a research placement at UNSW. In my free time I love spending time with friends and staying active — especially working out, playing sports, and exploring new places. I’m easy-going, social, and really enjoy meeting new people. A good flatmate, to me, is someone who has an open ear and is easy to talk to. Someone who feels like a friend, but also respects privacy and personal space. I value living with someone I can cook with, spend time with, and share everyday moments, while still giving each other independence and mutual respect.
Food sharing and furniture
I really enjoy cooking together and trying new things. I generally eat everything, but I don’t eat much meat. I’m happy to either share some meals occasionally or arrange our own food, depending on what works best for everyone. I don’t have any living room furniture to bring.
