I think a good flatmate is respectful, clean, and communicates openly. Being considerate with shared spaces, noise, and routines makes a big difference. I value a calm, low-drama home where people are friendly and easygoing, but also respect each other’s space. Reliability and mutual courtesy are important to me.
Food sharing and furniture
I usually prefer to organise my own food day-to-day, but I’m happy with occasional shared basics if that’s the house norm. I’m not vegetarian or vegan. I don’t currently have living room furniture, but I’m flexible and happy to contribute or work around what’s already in place.
