Hi there!
I’m a 30-year-old Dutchie currently wrapping up my time in Sydney, where I’ve been living for over four months. Now I’m getting ready for the next chapter of my Australian adventure: moving to Darwin in the Northern Territory in the second half of April to find work and explore a completely new part of the country.
Before coming to Australia, I worked in the museum world (participation projects, exhibitions—the whole deal), and prior to that as a history teacher. After years of studying and working, I decided it was time for a change of scenery—and Australia has definitely delivered so far!
I love exploring museums, heritage sites, and all things art and architecture, but I’m just as happy staying in with a film or series, or grabbing drinks with friends. I’m also a regular at the gym and enjoy a healthy balance between social time and quiet downtime.
At home, I really value a clean and cozy space with a good vibe. I enjoy shared dinners, good conversations, and a mix of going out and relaxing at home. I’m hoping to find housemates who are open-minded, around the same age, and keen to create a relaxed and friendly home together.
