Hey I'm Ellie and I'm a music, art, all sorts of creativity lover who also really enjoys cleaning for others (more than cleaning after myself ironically!) I'm autistic and have been homeless in the past so I have had many life experiences, meaning I know how to appreciate and respect a home, especially someone else's. I can become overwhelmed at times and will become slightly antisocial, and take time to myself either in my room with music (headphones if needed out of respect or I will take a walk/skate.) I have chronic illnesses that flare up so sometimes you will see me be able to run and jump and skip and be hyperactive as I also have ADHD and autism and other times you'll see that I need to just rest and I am prone to having non-ethylptic seizures which do not need medical attention simply regulation water and salt. Easy enough for me to manage and not as stress for you or any flatmate to do with as it is my burden to bear and something that I am is used to, so fear not I have it sorted!
Compatible people
A good flatmate for me is someone who acknowledges when I do and don't need or want socializing and to allows me time to regulate when I acknowledge or announced that I need time alone and is able to be okay with me playing music out loud at times (at a respectful volume of course) as well as being able to put up with my random bursts of ADHD cleaning and hyperactive conversations while also setting their boundaries of when they are unable to be regulated with my hyperactivity!! To me a compatible flatmate is also someone who is willing to either keep the themselves and be respectful of when they invite people over and letting me know or who is willing to involve me in their lives I would like communication and I will do the same either way. I only have one or two friends if that, and one of them is online. A compatible person would be someone who is okay with me accidentally making all living mess around but knowing that I will always clean up after myself as I am always conscious of making this and never name to make a mess I always intend to clean it up I always cleans it up for me I am remorseful regret and I will do anything to make it up to them to be honest!
Food sharing and furniture
I love sharing food as long as I know that the food has been shared so that I can restock before it has run out and aware of the fact that it has been used as the autism and ex homelessness in me like to know how much food I have and when I need to restock!
Description of pets
I have a golden retriever who won't be travelling with me 😠but I am very much an animal person, of all kinds. I have no fear of them but know when they need their own space, from experience and volunteering!
