I'm a full time creative who works from home 1 day a week, and am looking for a flattie to share a nice home with. I'm currently in Surry Hills, but would like to try somewhere new.
I've been sharing for years, so I'm conscious of being tidy, respectful and paying everything ahead of time. Lately I've been enjoying bike rides around the city to find the best sando and reading a lot.
It would be wonderful to find a like-minded, similarly aged housemate, who is tidy and has been house sharing long enough to know how it works. I'm also not interested in having a party household, and hoping more for a calm haven post-work.
I'll be bringing my little buddy (the pale guy in the pic) with me, so a love for cats is a must! He's a very calm and sweet 6yo.

Compatible people
I'm drawn to independent people who are friendly and respectful. I like to occasionally socialise with housemates, but don't depend on it. Cleanliness is also very important and I lift my weight in that regard.
Food sharing and furniture
I'm happy to share food and have no special dietary requirements. When the mood strikes me, I'll cook a few nights a week. I have a desk and bookshelf, but if the bedroom is large enough, I'm happy to have it all in there.
Description of pets
Malarky Phillip Nicholson is a 6 year old rescue. He's sweet and affectionate, and shares the same bedtime routine as me and is predominantly an indoor cat - he occasionally gets supervised outdoor time, but is pretty happy to lead a simple and relaxed life
