For me, a good flatmate is someone you can count on if something goes wrong, but who also really respects your space and your time. It’s just having that mutual understanding that you’re not living alone, so you clean up after yourself and try to be considerate, but like, nothing crazy just common sense
At the same time, it’s nice when you actually get along!! someone you can have a laugh with, feel comfortable around, and just be yourself. Ideally, you end up becoming friends, sharing the occasional chat, good moments, or even hobbies :)
