About this person
My name is Makayla, and I am 22 years old. I have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy affecting my right arm and leg, as well as PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures).
I am the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl named Kaitlyn, who is my greatest source of joy and motivation. At present, my fiancée, Jay, and I do not live together. I spend time with my daughter on Tuesdays and Fridays, and on alternating Fridays she visits me at my home for a few hours.
I do not smoke; however, I do vape.
I am currently studying at Liverpool TAFE, where I am completing a Certificate I in Workplace Skills. My daily routine is fairly flexible, allowing me to manage my time independently. I also receive support on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, during which my NDIS support worker assists me by providing transport and helping me with daily activities.

Compatible people
A good flatmate isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being easy to live with day to day. The best ones are reliable, respectful, and communicate clearly.
Someone who pays rent and bills on time takes a lot of stress out of shared living. Cleanliness matters too, not in an obsessive way, but keeping shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom tidy so things don’t build up or cause tension.
Respect is a big one. That means being mindful of noise, especially at night, respecting personal space, and understanding each other’s routines. A good flatmate doesn’t cross boundaries or make the other person feel uncomfortable in their own home.
Communication ties everything together. If something’s bothering them, they bring it up calmly instead of letting it turn into resentment. They’re also open to compromise, because no two people live exactly the same way.
It also helps when they’re considerate in small ways, like replacing things they use, letting you know if they’ll have visitors over, or just being friendly without being intrusive.
If you’re thinking about choosing a flatmate, it can help to focus less on whether you’d be best friends and more on whether your lifestyles actually match.

Food sharing and furniture
I don't like sharing food, I'm not vegan or vegetarian, just autistic, so I hate people touching my food
