Personal introduction
My name is Tom (29) and I am originally from Melbourne currently living in Queenscliff. I have lived on the Northern Beaches for 5 years and work full-time at Northern Beaches Council as an Environmental Health Officer often working a mix from home and at the office but can really work from anywhere. Outside of work I enjoy going to the beach for a surf, swim, dive or snorkel in addition to going to the gym and playing tennis each week. I am into pretty much all forms of sport (playing or watching) and always keen to get out and be active. I am also down for catching up with mates and having a drink/yarn although I am not the biggest drinker.
Compatible people
Someone who's just a nice person and happy to be outgoing/sociable. I understand the need for personal space especially after meeting someone new but hope that no one feels they have to isolate from one another. I am not a neat freak but do appreciate cleanliness and tidiness from occupants with no messes being left around.
Food sharing and furniture
I am happy to arrange my own food/meals but do hope that we can share the occasional feed as flat mates. I may have some small bits of furniture but a majority of this had belonged to my former partner before we had met. I would ideally like to bring in my own bed if possible (not a deal breaker) but also have room to fit a desk and 2 boards. A built in wardrobe would also be preferred.
Description of pets
I share a 2 year old golden retriever named Walter with my former partner although he will not be living with me. Rather, I will only be taking him out/ looking after him if required which is usually picking him up for a play or walk in the morning. I would appreciate if he could also come for short visits and maybe stay a night but am flexible.
