Hey! I’m Alex, 26, and I’ve been living in Sydney for the past four years (so definitely not a backpacker anymore!). I’m currently based in Newtown and looking for a new place to call home, ideally before the end of the year, but I’m flexible for the right place.
I work full-time as a Business Development Manager and am on a sponsorship, so I’ve got a stable job and routine. Outside of work, I’m pretty laid-back and easygoing. I enjoy playing golf, watching the footy on weekends, catching up with mates and the occasional sunset beer.
I’m social and always up for a chat, but I’m not a massive party animal and appreciate having a comfortable, relaxed home to come back to. I’m tidy, respectful of shared spaces and looking to live with people who are friendly and easy to get along with.

I like a home where everyone feels comfortable, communicates openly and does their fair share without things becoming a big deal. I’m social and enjoy having a beer, watching the footy or having a chat together, but I also respect everyone’s space and downtime.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to buy and prepare my own food, but I’m always happy to share! I have my own bedroom bits and bobs and personal belongings, and I’m happy to contribute to shared household items as needed. I’m easy going when it comes to living arrangements and happy to work out what suits everyone in the house.
