LOOKING FOR A ROOM / FLATSHARE IN SYDNEY

Hey everyone!

I'm Erik, 34, French-Brazilian, moving to Sydney on **November 10th** on a Working Holiday Visa!

I'm looking for a furnished room in a friendly shared flat, ideally long-term, but also open to short-term rentals or sublets while I settle in.

Preferred areas:
- Eastern Suburbs: Bondi, Bondi Junction, Coogee, Randwick, Bronte
- Inner City:** Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Paddington, Newtown, Potts Point
- Northern Beaches: Manly

Budget: AUD $300–400/week, ideally including bills.

A little about me:

Originally from Brazil, I've lived in France for most of my life. I speak French, Portuguese and English.

Professionally, I've spent the past **8 years working in fashion, luxury and lifestyle PR**, collaborating with international brands. I'm also a freelance journalist covering fashion, culture and travel. I'm now heading to Australia to explore new opportunities in hospitality and tourism while continuing some freelance work.

I'm outgoing, sporty, curious and easygoing. I love surfing, fitness, dancing, travelling, cooking and sharing a good glass of wine!

I'm queer and looking for an LGBTQ+ friendly household with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

As a flatmate, I'm clean, respectful and sociable. I love spending time with my flatmates, cooking and sharing meals, but I'm also independent and sometimes need my own space to recharge. I love a good party, but I also value a clean, tidy and peaceful home. Ideally, I'd love to find a place that feels like a real home, with a nice balance between sharing good times and respecting everyone's privacy!
