Isobel

Hi my name is Isobel. I have lived in Sydney most of my life and was born in England.

I am 50+ and currently looking for somewhere to live, maybe 3 months to possibly long term if it works. I'm interested in my own place, or to share with one other I enjoy living with.

I enjoy a peaceful, balanced life having fun, seeing friends and going out to live music. When I'm not doing that I enjoy my own space at home, reading, sitting outside, meditating and watching TV which I would have in my own room. I enjoy domestic things and being at home just as much as a social occasion with friends.

I'm up for a chat and maybe a wine at times when we are both home and around. I am responsible and nurturing to my environment - so gardening, maintaining things, cleaning and enjoying my home are important to me.

I love dogs as well as other animals. I relish good relationships with honesty and connection. My interests include bushwalks, swimming, the beach, good food, self expression. I'm still very modern, active and adaptable.

I used to work in TV and events but now I work part time in administration. I'm currently transitioning to a new job.

I am very neat and quiet at home. I like having an elegant cosy house. I definitely need some type of outside grounds or large balcony.

I'm hoping to share with someone who understands I will bring my favourite stuff with me, so I need allocated space in the communal area for the odd thing, a shelf in the fridge, some room in the kitchen, linen closet, and bathroom etc as a normal part of sharing a house.

I'm looking for mature and friendly person who enjoys their independence as well as socialising and building a happy home. I prefer living with people who are responsible, neat and peaceful with a sense of humour and fun. I would feel happy living with someone who respects my privacy while also enjoys chats, get togethers and occasionally helping eachother out if needed (which the closeness of living together usually brings).
I also need to know I'm accommodated when I move in, with my own things and spaces. That this would be my home too, not living just as a temporary guest.

I like buying my own food and supplies. I use healthy and environmentally friendly choices. Sometimes I'm too tired for formal meals and just grab a snack at night. I eat vegetables, fish and chicken not red meat.

I prefer an elegant, homey & clean space - whether old world or modern. I have bedroom furniture but occasionally happy to use a supplied bed if it's good, newish and comfortable. I have stuff in storage.

I don't have a dog or other animal at present but do love them around.
