I’m currently on a long-term contract working in financial services, splitting my week between the office and working from home, with flexibility across both.
Work keeps me fairly busy during the week, but I like to make the most of my downtime. Weekends are usually a mix of hiking, cooking something new, or heading out with mates for a good night. I’ve got a soft spot for whiskey and fine wine, but I’m equally happy with a relaxed night in to recharge.
I also have a partner who is based in Canberra, where she works as a researcher at ANU. Because of that, I split my time between Sydney and Canberra. She does visit occasionally, though it’s quite rare, and when she does, we’re usually off on a weekend trip.

Food sharing and furniture
When it comes to meals, I generally sort out my own, but I’m always up for sharing a dinner or two during the week. In terms of furniture, I don’t have living room pieces at the moment, as mine are staying elsewhere for now.
