Lived in Aus for 7 years. Did my PhD in Physics at the University of Melbourne for 4 years. I've been working my dream job as a postdoc researcher in quantum computing at UNSW for 3 years 🤓 I work in the lab at uni full time. I love getting active outdoors, rock climbing, salsa dancing, keeping fit and getting creative with arty projects (despite being a bit of a science nerd). Important personal qualities
Young professionals or graduate students would be ideal housemates for me. Most of my friends are sporty people who enjoy getting outdoors and keeping busy. Keen for someone who is not hosting a rowdy late house party every night but who enjoys socialising and hosting the occasional dinner party. People with interesting hobbies who enjoy an outdoor adventure are great. Housemates who are tidy in communal areas and are respectful about noise levels on school nights (like myself) are preferred.
Food sharing and furniture
Sharing of pots, pans, plates and spices etc. would be ideal. I usually would cook for myself (no dietary requirements) or grab dinner out but would be keen to get together for a house dinner every now and then. I also love to host dinner parties for friends to perfect my cooking and baking skills! A tidy sink without lots of dirty plates makes me happy. I don't have any furniture (except a bed and chest of drawers) or kitchen appliances
