My 9-5 consists of finalising my PhD about LGBTIQ+ activisms in Uganda and teaching at the University of Sydney. I'm a bit of a NGO/CSO veteran with more than a decade's experience in the field of sexual health and rights, mainly related to LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS, in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
I've plenty of house share experience from Australia and around the globe. As my days are often quite packed, I value shared houses with a good balance between social and downtime, and with clear guidelines for cleanliness and tidiness. I love cooking and sharing meals, but my social batteries can't quite keep up, if it's every day.
In true Scandi fashion, I'm straightforward (not rude in my own humble opinion), appreciate sarcasm and sass (think Hannah Gadsby and Daniel Sloss humour), and cherish good mature comms skills.

Important personal qualities
15 years experience of living with different people in various countries (Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Uganda, Thailand, India etc.), I can confidently say that I'm house-sharing trained :)
As a closeted introvert and wannabe academic, I need my home to be a place to recharge and do in-depth writing work. I therefore want (and reciprocate) to live with people who are clean and tidy in communal places, good communicators, and able to respect a closed door.
Depending on the household, I also usually very much enjoy communal dinners, outings and chats with my housemate(s), and I'd be thrilled with a house with a good mix of social and introvert times.

I don't have any furniture or utensils with me.
I do like to arrange my own food, and I tend to cook for myself. However, I'm more than happy to have communal dinners from time to time, and I love to BBQ. And yes, I'm vegan :)
