Hi, I'm Kris, in my early 40s. I left my career as an Executive and Project Manager in the luxury retail industry for a career break and to deal with the lost of a loved one. Finally decided to pursue a more meaningful and purpose-driven career and undergoing further studies in Community Service - TAFE.
In addition to TAFE, I will also be working part-time / full-time soon.
My current housemate of over 10 years just bought a place and is moving in with his bf, hence I am looking for a room to rent.
I tend to spend most of my time in the bedroom but open to occasional socialising over a meal or watching a movie in the living room.
Sadly, I'm allergic to alcohol so I don't drink. The silver lining here is that I will make sure you are ok and tucked in your bed if you pass out drunk on the hallway after a big night out. 😂
I am shy and slow to open up and that sometimes come across as unfriendly but as we get to know each other, you will find me to be somewhat funny and friendly. Probably classify myself as an ambivert (someone right in the middle of the introvert-extrovert spectrum).
I am also considerate of others, enjoy deep and meaningful conversations, though not so much on intellectual ones but always open to learn more.

I prefer to prepare my own meals and will probably cook a few times each week.
I have some some small kitchen appliances such as an air-fryer, a Nespresso machine and a few pots and pans. Nothing large.
