Hello! I'm Chantelle... Recently described by a friend as having a "sunny disposition", which was very kind :)

Recent happenings in my world...

I own and operate a small business, based in Sydney (stable, established in 2013). I recently moved back to Sydney (and land!) after living 3 years full time on a sailboat, exploring the east coast of Australia and the reef, while I worked remotely on my business. Mind-blowing is an understatement of that experience, and I am so grateful - alas, was time to come back to land.

Currently living in Bronte (a good transition from living on the water), but would like to move closer to my work (inner-west). I'll be looking to move around mid-July, with some flexibility around that.

Personality wise... I'm generally bubbly and outgoing, I love a great conversation and spending time with loved ones... But I also enjoy solo down time to let my busy brain rest. I'm authentic and value genuine people of all sorts. I don't do well around superficial people at all.

How I spend my time...
I'm dedicated to my work (I'm a creative business professional and love what I do), but I ensure I enjoy my life elsewhere. I LOVE NATURE, whether that is snorkelling or hiking, or simply strolling through the park. I prioritise health, movement and aim for a balanced life. I love travel, seeing new places, people etc. Again, fuelled by nature. Love music, love the arts... I'm up for any wild suggestion for a new cultural experience or activity!

I am very, very respectful of every space I'm in, be it my home, workspace, friend/family's home, rental etc. I am very neat and tidy and appreciate a clean space for my brain to function :) Looking for fellow house-proud folk to ensure we have a clean and tidy little haven to come home to!

Social balance...
I am lively and social, but I am definitely not a party animal. I am an early-riser, often also early to bed. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine and every now and then a night out... But I wouldn't thrive in a party household. Up for flatmate conversations, low-key hangs, occasionally cook each other dinner... Invite each other to join social activities etc. But I also value solo down time.

I come with my beautiful house-trained cat, Ringo :)

I am very respectful of other people's space... I will always keep all communal areas tidy and will be as quiet as a mouse when you sleep. I've had the most insane cleanfreak partner, soncleaning sleeves are well and truly rolled up!

I am a vegetarian (sorry!), and happy to share a big cook up with you if you dig it! LOVE my veggies and love sharing a meal with loved ones, but also very happy to cook for one.

I moved interstate and all my communal furniture is in storage, so I come with no living room furniture (me only!).

Ringo is my beautiful short-haired tabby friend... Full of personality, loves to play (he is hilarious and entertaining!) and loves his snuggles. He is a rescue, approximately 6-7 years old, and can be a slow burn with new people due to his history, but eventually comes around and is very affectionate. For the past 3 years Ringo lived permanently on the boat with me, exploring the east coast of Australia! So whilst he is a bit neurotic and nervous at times, he is also incredibly adaptable and adventurous! Ringo thrives in a stable loving home where he is treated as part of the family, so we would definitely be looking for a home with people who like cats and want to bond with him. :) Ringo is house trained, including litter, furniture etc. He is very smart, and has learned ways to communicate with us in various ways. Ringo is a sweet boy, and everyone in the sailing community is obsessed with him hehe :)
