Luke

Hey everyone, we’re Luke and Em - two mates looking to team up with another person or couple in trying to find a place to move into. We’re mainly looking around the Marrickville area for a place, although Enmore, Newtown, Sydenham, and St Peters are also in our interest. We’re looking to move out either in March or April and will need to give three weeks notice before we break the lease on our current place in Newtown. We’re coming with a household haul of appliances - fridge, washing machine, clothes dryer etc; along with some bits of furniture, a Tv, and art works to top off!

Howdy, my name is Em! I’m queer + AuDHD, an animator / illustrator, and I do some AV/production work for events. In my free time you can mostly find me working on some kind of creative project, getting out in nature, watching movies, needing out, or seeing a good pub gig. I make music and love playing guitar and keys. I’m always down for a house dinner and movie night, or spontaneous beach trips!

Hi I’m Luke, a young queer creative who works full-time - Monday-Friday at a bookstore and studying part-time. I value a balanced lifestyle of staying active whilst finding some much needed downtime for myself - I like to have a few creative projects on the go. I love to cook and run a dinner-party/catering project with a mate, coming in hot with a fairly decent collection of cookbooks. You can find me going to gigs, reading, writing, and heading over to the beach when I can. I’ve got a few plants kicking about, the newest being a native lime which is starting bloom nicely. I’m always down for some good food, a bev, and or a movie night.

We’d love to catch up over a coffee, or a beverage sometime and chat house hunting together. Feel free to send us a message and we can go from there. Have a good one and take care out there.

I like to be tidy and contain my own mess (controlled chaos) to my room. I love to play music regularly and am conscientious of my housemates and keep it down as to not disturb the peace, but will gladly provide tunes on request. As mentioned a few times I cook and like to stay active and have a pretty social calendar most of the time, interspersed with much needed alone time to recharge. I love a movie night in with some food and drinks or just a solid yarn.

I have no dietary or lifestyle requirements that effect food. In fact, I love food and cook very regularly!

Em and myself have a few pieces of furniture which we can bring along with us.
