Hi everyone! We’re a friendly couple (35 & 43) looking for a short-term rental as our current home is on the market. We’ll be heading to Europe for a few months around mid–late April due to family health matters, so we’re seeking a place until then.
🏡 What we’re looking for
• 1–2 bedroom house, townhouse, unit or apartment; suitable studio also considered (given the short-term stay)
• Bonus if there’s a small office setup or space for a desk
• Fully furnished, or at least with essential furniture
• Functional kitchen preferred (kitchenette considered)
• 2 parking spots required (street parking is fine)
• Reliable, fast internet and good phone coverage are essential as I work from home with video conferencing (telehealth)
We’re looking for private, self-contained accommodation only (not a share house).
📍 Preferred areas: Lennox Head, East Ballina, Ballina, Skennars Head, Suffolk Park, Byron Bay and nearby surrounds. We’re open to other locations if they’re not too far from this area.
🗓 Short term until mid–late April (flexible as flights aren’t booked yet).
✨ A huge bonus would be the possibility to return around September 2026 (or earlier) for a longer-term stay. If that’s an option, we’d love to chat!
