Hello,

My name is Sky Kim, and I’m currently looking for a place to stay in Brisbane with my friend starting from May 29. Since it’s the two of us, we’re searching for a room suitable for two people. I completely understand how important it is to find the right people to live with, so I’d like to introduce ourselves in as much detail as possible to help you get a clear sense of who we are.

We are Sky Kim and Vin Jung — you can simply call us Sky and Vin. I’m 29 and Vin is 30, and we are both women from South Korea. We each completed our university studies in Korea: I majored in art education and also completed a graduate program in the same field, while Vin studied elementary education.

Before coming to Australia, I had a wide range of work experiences. I worked as a store manager at a cosmetics shop, taught children at a school, and also worked at an animal hospital. We can keep spaces clean and organised, stay flexible in different situations, and even know how to care for pets.

Vin worked as an elementary school teacher before coming here. She has a quiet and respectful personality.

In my free time, I enjoy drawing and watching movies. Especially sketching cute animals and chatting about films. Vin enjoys reading and going for walks.

Both of us are quiet, kind, and respectful. We enjoy socialising appropriately with others while also valuing privacy. We keep our space clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, and always clean up the kitchen right after meals — including doing the dishes immediately.

Although we love animals, my cat is currently staying with our parents in Korea, so he won’t be joining us in Australia.

We don’t drink or smoke, and we don’t enjoy loud or disruptive parties.

We came to Australia on a working holiday, inspired by its beautiful nature and the kindness of its people. Once we find a place to stay, we’ll begin job hunting and are committed to working diligently. We’re also planning to buy a car between late July and August, so if parking is available, that would be a great bonus.

If the living conditions and the environment feel like a good fit for us, we would be happy to consider staying longer-term.

We would prefer to live with someone who is quiet, respectful of personal space and belongings, and keeps things clean. It would be even better if our housemate is also female. We’re not too picky, but we’d really like to avoid any noise or issues. we just want a peaceful living environment.

I’m happy to share some food, but I’d prefer that my housemates don’t assume I’ll provide everything or eat my food without asking. I totally understand if my roommates cook food with strong smells it doesn’t bother me. I’m also willing to buy my own seasonings or ingredients if needed. It would be great if the house is already furnished.

My cat, GS, couldn’t come to Australia with me, so he’s currently living with my parents in Korea. While raising him, I worked as a veterinary nurse at a 24-hour emergency animal hospital in Korea, assisting veterinarians. So if there are any pets in the house, I know how to take good care of them.
