Hi! My name is Monty, I'm Scottish, I'm 21 and I am living and working in Townsville. I am moving to Melbourne on the 3rd of March and looking for a place ASAP!
I have been here for 18 months and working full-time as a bartender on my 2nd WHV. I am very clean and tidy, respectful. I am also not a big drinker either so I wouldn't worry about me coming in causing a fuss at 4am :) haha (I have had flatmates like that in the past so I respect how irritating that can be).
My working hours vary each week, some weeks I do only nightshifts and other weeks I can do only dayshifts, so I have no way of telling what my working hours may be.
I am not just looking for someone to live with, I feel as though its very important to have a somewhat friendship with the people you surround yourself with at the place you call home.
I love travelling and exploring around different countries. I also love language learning, so if you can speak any other languages, it would be ideal so I could have a practice.
I left Scotland in June 2024 and travelled to Beijing, China, where I worked as a counsellor in summer camp. Afterwards, I travelled onto Shanghai, South Korea and then Indonesia which was my last stop before arriving in Australia.
