Hi, I’m Steve 👋

Originally from New Zealand — Kiwi as, bro 🇳🇿 — and I’m full-time employed in traffic control, mainly working night shifts on freeway and road projects.

I’m into fishing, spear fishing, surfing, martial arts, writing and making music, gemstones and jewellery, and pretty much anything to do with the ocean. I used to run regularly, but since getting into traffic work I haven’t had much time for it and have put on a few extra kilos 😂. I’m hoping to get back into it when I get the chance.

I’m clean, tidy and respectful of other people’s space. I enjoy socialising and having a chat, but I’m also happy doing my own thing and giving people their own space and downtime. I don’t smoke and I’m not a big drinker, so I’m not looking for a party house.

I love living near the beach and have been around the Parkdale/Beaches area since December 2020. I’d ideally like to stay somewhere around the same general area.

I’m also a big seafood fan and enjoy cooking, especially fresh seafood. I’m clean in the kitchen and make sure food waste doesn’t get left around.

I currently have a take-home pod truck for my traffic work, so I need somewhere where I can park the truck on the street. I may also have an arrow board with it, although that can be left back at our yard if needed.

I’m mainly looking for somewhere more affordable. I’ve been at my current place for around six years, but the rent has increased by about $50 several times over that period, so I’m now looking for something a bit cheaper.

I’ll also be adding some more recent photos to my profile — the older ones are starting to become slightly optimistic 😂.

Am also happy to cook my own food respect everyone’s space and have no expectations of eating or sharing someone’s food unless invited to .
