I have a unique situation where I work FIFO so I'm only home 50% of the time. The time I am home I have my 2 kids and 2 dogs. I'm considering renting out the lounge and dining areas of the home which can be completely blocked off for privacy, thus sharing the rental load and bills. Those areas can then be separated again to create closed off bedroom/s.
