Spacious private granny flat in a friendly Italian household – bills and internet included
We are offering a spacious private granny flat within our home. The granny flat will be fully ededicated to the new housemate(s) and includes a private bathroom, a small study area, a sofa, TV, bed, and a small kitchen area. It is a comfortable and spacious living space where you can enjoy your own privacy and relax.
The granny flat does not have a completely independent entrance; to access it, you will walk through the main kitchen and the outdoor veranda. The shared areas of the house include a large kitchen, where we will provide two pantry spaces for the new housemate(s), as well as a living area with a sofa, TV, dining table, and the veranda, which is a lovely space to spend time outdoors.
We are a friendly Italian household of four people: a couple, a guy, and a girl. We get along very well and have created a home that feels a bit like a family, while still respecting everyone’s privacy and personal space. We enjoy sharing occasional meals together when possible, but everyone has their own routines and independence. We don’t usually have parties and we appreciate a peaceful and comfortable home environment.
We also have a dog and a cat. The cat is very independent and you will probably rarely see him! Our dog loves spending time in the veranda and is a very loved part of our home, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and will welcome him as part of the family. 😊
We are not looking for a specific type of person — whether you are working, studying, or doing something else, what matters most to us is respect, kindness, and consideration for others. We don’t have many strict rules; we believe a happy home is built on mutual respect, open communication, and being mindful of shared spaces.
We are always open to communicating and adapting to make sure everyone feels comfortable and happy at home. We would prefer a single person, but we are open to considering a couple.

The house is located in Kidman Park, a quiet and convenient suburb with great access to nature and the city. We are only a 10-minute walk from the river, a 10-minute drive from Adelaide Airport, and around a 5-minute drive from the beach. The area is well connected by public transport, with buses available to easily reach the city centre and surrounding suburbs.

Pepe is a very independent cat and he enjoys having his own space. He is quite private, so you will probably rarely see him around, but he is a calm and easy-going presence in the home.
Loki is our Border Collie. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and needs some time to get comfortable, but once he trusts you, he becomes a very affectionate and cuddly dog. He loves going for walks, playing with balls (although he has a talent for destroying them all! 😄), and spending time around people.
Both Pepe and Loki live outdoors. Loki may occasionally bark, but this is very rare and usually only happens when he hears unusual noises. They are both very loved members of our home, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable and happy living with animals.
