Home Description

Description of the home

Hello,

My name is Gabi, and I’m a 36-year-old freelance graphic designer. In my downtime, I enjoy reading and working on creative design projects. I also have a one-year-old Ragdoll cat named Coco — she’s well-trained and even knows a few tricks!

I share my home with two friendly housemates: Callum (25) and Greg (43). Callum is currently studying Psychology at Flinders University. Outside of his studies, he runs a small freelance IT business and is often tinkering with computers (either his own or a client's). Greg works part-time as a lumberjack in Belair. One of the perks of Greg’s job? We regularly enjoy backyard barbeques and bonfires, usually at least once a week!

We have a relaxed and easygoing household. While some of us do smoke, it’s strictly outdoors — never inside the house.

Our home is a charming cottage situated on a quiet and picturesque street in Magill. This area is known for its leafy streets, friendly community, and close proximity to both the Adelaide CBD and the Adelaide Hills. Magill offers a great mix of convenience and lifestyle, with excellent cafes, boutique shops, wineries, walking trails, and parks all nearby. Public transport is easily accessible, and there are plenty of local amenities including supermarkets, gyms, and medical services.

The house itself has a light, open feel and a spacious backyard filled with fruit trees — including grapes, jostaberries, apples, peaches, oranges, passion fruit, and kiwi. I’ve recently planted rockmelons and watermelons, and I’m hoping to add chickens in the near future.

We’re gradually furnishing the house and plan to include a dining table, chairs, and an extra couch soon.

If you're interested or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to hear from you!

Warm regards,
Gabi

About occupants
Hello,

Compatible people
We’re looking for a like-minded individual to join our home—someone who is easygoing with a good sense of humour, respectful of shared spaces, and considerate of others’ beliefs and cultural differences. Cleanliness and mutual respect are important to us, and we’re hoping to find someone who shares those values.

Pets are welcome, but please note that your pet will need to get along with my one-year-old Ragdoll cat, Coco. She has a calm and friendly temperament and gets along well with other cats. While she hasn’t met any dogs yet, I believe she would be fine with a friendly, cat-tolerant dog.
