Welcome to a warm, comfortable, and well-established 1974 solid brick home that offers space, convenience, and a relaxed living environment. While the property isn't newly renovated, it has been well cared for and provides a homely atmosphere that's ideal for someone looking for comfort over luxury. Please excuse the lived in mass you can see in the photos the previous housemate up and left with two days notice and I'm in the process of giving the house a massive clean out which will be done before you move in.
One of the standout features is the exceptional landlord, who is genuinely respectful of tenants' privacy. Routine inspections are kept to a minimum, and any maintenance issues are addressed promptly. He enjoys completing plastering and general repairs himself, so there are a few cosmetic patch-ups throughout the home, but they don't affect the property's comfort or functionality.

The other resident is Oreo, my beautiful Border Collie. She's incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of personality. Oreo loves people, enjoys a game of ball whenever she gets the chance, and is just as happy curling up for a cuddle after a walk. She's well behaved, gentle, and quickly wins over almost everyone she meets, so if you're a dog lover, you'll feel right at home.
A few house expectations: I do smoke cigarettes, but only outside—the home itself is smoke-free. This is also not a party house. I'm looking for someone who appreciates a quiet, respectful living environment. I have a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal drugs, so if that's part of your lifestyle, this won't be the right fit.
I'm looking for someone who is clean, considerate, and easy to get along with—someone who wants a relaxed, friendly home rather than just a place to sleep.
Ideally, you'll be reliable when it comes to paying rent and bills on time, keep shared areas clean and tidy, and be happy to do your fair share around the house. I value open communication and believe a good share house is built on mutual respect and consideration for one another.
One thing I am firm on is that this is a drug-free home. I have a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal drugs. What people choose to do elsewhere is their own business, but drugs are not permitted in this house under any circumstances.

Like most Border Collies, she enjoys her daily walks and a game of ball, but once she's had her exercise she's happy to settle down and relax. She's well behaved indoors, friendly with visitors, and isn't an excessive barker. She loves attention but is also gentle and affectionate, so she's a joy to have around the house.
If you're a dog lover, Oreo will probably become your best friend in no time. She simply asks for the occasional pat, a kind word, and maybe someone to throw her ball every now and then!
