Hi All,

My name is Lucy and I am a 37yr old woman looking for a housemate to share this house with me. I'm a non-smoker, drink on special occasions, and am strongly against drugs.

I work as a social scientist in the Australian Public Service and my hours are pretty normal. I'm an introvert and like a quiet house especially as I've just started a PhD so need quiet to focus on my studies.

My friends would describe me as friendly, nerdy and funny. I'm a big fan of video games, and I enjoy watching documentaries and the occasional good tv show/movie.

I've lived with both men and women in share houses before so it doesn't bother me, I'm just looking for someone who I can click with. It is important to me that you have share-housed previously, know how to communicate well, and don't engage in drama.

I like the house to be clean but can tolerate a level of disorder but only as long as it isn't a continuous mess.

The room available is shown. I currently use it for storage but will remove the storage/furnishings before anyone moves in. The room can fit a queen bed and side tables.

The third room I currently use as a study which has enough space for another desk but am happy to negotiate changing it around if you have another idea for the room. The bathroom is shared, but since the house has two toilets you will have your own. The house has a garage that I currently use but I am happy to negotiate that if you are wanting to use it.

Move in date is flexible. It can be made earlier or later for the right person

I am looking for a friendly an considerate housemate, with secure and stable employment. If you are after a drama free home, and don’t mind doing your part to keep the home clean and tidy, then we are on the same page. I think it’s great to develop friendships with those you are housemates with while also respecting each other’s space and privacy. Your friends are welcome visitors!

I have two cats that are both indoor cats but love to go outdoor during the day. Their names are Madeleine and Mischa. They tolerate each other but won't do well with adding another pet sorry.
