Braestone Sanctuary has a beautiful stone and cedar home positioned amongst 2.5 acres of landscaped and manicured gardens just 3 km to lake Wendouree or Ballarat train station. Enjoy the willow flanked views of our dams amongst mature trees where Kookaburras, Currawongs, Rosella's, native ducks and many other species flit about. Walking paths and cycling tracks abound within nearby bushland surrounding Black Hill.
The expansive home has multiple living rooms providing both quiet and communal spaces to suit. The bedrooms are generous rooms with queen bed, wardrobe, inbuilt chest, shelves and study desk. Multiple bathrooms ensure your privacy is not disturbed. The main kitchen and dining areas enable you to share meals with owners Diane and Tom plus our part time house mate Vic. Another meal space is a kitchenette within the main tv room which is fully equipped with a small fridge, hotplate, microwave plus all utensils, crockery etc.

We would love to share our house with people who desire comfort and tranquility, who are happy in their own company but also enjoy the opportunity to engage with others. We are clean, organised and considerate of others and would expect the same of those who share our space.
Tom and I have a strong work ethic, having lots of fun as we go. We are environmentally conscious, composting food waste and avid recyclers so we'd like to attract a house mate with similar attitudes. We nurture our productive vegetable and perennial Parterre garden and have a small flock of chooks producing fresh eggs. We're looking forward to hearing from you and showing you around our sanctuary.
