The House: Lovely 4 bedroom brick home. One acre block with garden, veggie patch, garage and shed. Semi-open living design for kitchen/dining/living rooms with a separate study room. Plenty of space in garden and garage for any ideas/projects.

The Location: By car 3mins to Kyneton and Woodend, 50 mins to Melbourne. By bike 15 mins to Kyneton or Woodend.

Bills and expenses

The Rent: $120 pw. Paid weekly or monthly and we ask for a month rent for bond. All bills shared evenly. We mainly use the fireplace in the living room for heating and luckily have a good supply of wood, solar panels keep electricity cost down, we have unlimited NBN and cooking is the only gas.

We use rain water and have solar panels.
Gas is used for central heating (which we don't use very often as we have a fire place) and for cooking.
Electricity and WiFi are our only other bills.

The Housemates: You will be sharing with Jess and Jack, 25 and 26y.o. We look after the house for the owner (Jess’s dad). We both grew up in the area and are now trying to find the perfect balance of work/rest/learn/play.

Our newest housemate Bili has just arrived 26y.o. female social worker, a friendly bubbly social bee.
