Description of the home
A cute house in a pretty quiet leafy street. It has living area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (the available bedroom has a built in wardrobe), 1 bathroom with bath/shower, and a separate toilet. There is a spare room that could be used as an office/hobby room if needed.
The available bedroom is currently unfurnished, however I can potentially arrange a bed/mattress/desk/shelves if required.
Double lock up garage under house and driveway parking.
Laundry area under the house.
The lounge/living area has airconditioning.
I currently have washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, airfryer, rice cooker etc for shared use. The only big appliance I can't provide is a TV, sorry.
Walking distance (approx. 15mins) from Chelmer Train Station. Also a short drive to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
The current lease runs until September.
A shorter 6-month stay can be considered also.

I am polite and respectful, but I have a busy full-time job and often don’t have much energy to socialise once I’m home. I value privacy and a peaceful environment and keep mostly to myself, so this household is best suited to someone who is independent, emotionally mature, and comfortable with a low-interaction living arrangement, and who respects clear personal boundaries.

An indoor cat may be considered at the property. It is not approved for dogs
The owner has approved one other tenant only, so no couples can join the lease, sorry.
Need to be able to observe quiet hours after 10pm on weeknights.
I am seeking a housemate who will be self-motivated to do their own chores, pay bills on time, respect each other's personal property, and generally keep the house a clean and harmonious place to live.
